FIRST post; Tacoma happenings.

My procrastinating is over. It's time that I write my first OFFICIAL blog post in Washington. I'm planning on keeping up with this on a weekly basis... practice makes perfect, right? Kind of.

The plan is to blog either on Sundays or Mondays and Thursdays or Fridays... it really depends on what my schedule will look like once I'm in Aberdeen and the internship has started. I'll keep y'all posted! (notice how I'm still a little attached to Oklahoma? "Y'all"? Yeah...)

What I've been up to...

I arrived in Seattle on Saturday evening at about 650pm. The flight was incredibly smooth, cloudless, and crazy boring. I had 4 hours next to a girl who danced in her seat and lip-sang to whatever it was she had plugged in. It was actually quite entertaining, though I tried not to pay attention.

I made it all the way to Seattle just fine, but then I got in the car with Aunt Charm and Uncle Jerry. We got in a TERRIBLE car accident... (just kidding, just needed to add some excitement). We drove around the fancy new golf course where there's only been one tournament, and has one planned sometime in a couple years. It's too beautiful just to sit there, so it's become a walker's paradise.

Then we got home, I got my things organized, and ate a salad and a slice of delicious pizza. I think we went for a walk around the block. Then we hunkered down, and I went to sleep.

I woke up Sunday morning at 7:30, got ready for church, went to church, went out for breakfast, called dad for Papa's Day, came home, and rested like none other. It was really great. Oh, and I Skyped mom. S/O to mom!

This morning (Monday), I woke up at 8:30, hung out upstairs while the house-cleaning-lady cleaned the house, ate some Coach's Oats and sausage with uncle Jerry, then went to Gig Harbor with aunt Charm around 1pm. We shopped, and I actually scored some yoga capris and a 1/2 off Patagonia zip-up. Splurge well done!

We went out to eat, and walked around the Harbor for a while. Then came home, hunkered down, thought about blogging, watched some of the Voice, then went for a solo 9pm walk til about 10pm. And now it's about midnight, and I'm FINALLY blogging. Yay me!

This is my life thus far! Not much planned for tomorrow... this is a week of rest and relaxation before the beautiful chaos of busyness comes into my life. I'm actually really excited; being on-the-go is my kind of thing.

Until I next feel like posting! (Probably Thursday)
